Officiating will be: Rev. Randall Cone.
Music provided by: Shirley Forgy - pianist.
Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vandalia, Missouri.
Pallbearers: grandsons, Roger Smith, Robert Smith, Joseph Brinegar, Jeffrey Brinegar, Jerald Brinegar and Lucas Graves.

Wilber Allen Rentfro passed away at 1:10 a.m. on Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri. He was a lifelong area resident and attend the Central Union Church for many years. After school, he joined the U. S. Army and served his country during World War II. After returning home from the service, Wilber worked with his parents farming. He and wife, Evelyn later owned and farmed south of Vandalia. Years ago, Wilber enjoyed playing cards, croquet, billiards and listening to the Cardinal ballgames.

Born: December 21, 1919 in rural Montgomery County, Missouri the son of Lewis Henry and Mittylene (Oden) Rentfro.

Married: Evelyn Marie Welch on December 31, 1941 in Vandalia, Missouri; she preceded him in death on October 12, 2007.

Survivors include: four daughters, Donna M. and husband, Ron Smith of rural Curryville, Missouri; Joyce F. and husband, John Brinegar of Wellsville, Missouri; Barbara J. and husband, Gene Graves of rural Laddonia, Missouri; Janice S. and husband, Edward Reading of rural Curryville, Missouri; one sister, Alma DeLancey of Mexico, Missouri; 11 grandchildren: Roger Smith of rural Curryville; Dena McGeorge of St. Louis; Robert Smith of Vandalia; Joseph Brinegar of Wellsville; Jeffrey Brinegar of Columbia, Missouri; Jerald Brinegar of Wellsville; Sarah Graves of Mexico; Lucas Graves of Columbia; Elizabeth Graves of Mexico; Melissa Collins of Elsberry, Missouri; Meredith Koch of Elsberry; also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: wife, Evelyn; three brothers, Homer Rentfro, Lloyd Rentfro and Clyde Rentfro; two sisters, Lucille Kaisor and Dortha Foree; also preceded by one granddaughter: Tanya Reading.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Central Union Church in care of Waters Funeral Home, P O Box 84, Vandalia, Missouri 63382-0084.
