Wanda Stotler, age 85, of Vandalia Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 pm, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Waters Funeral Home. Brother Kenny Haddock will officiate. Interment will follow at the Evergreen memorial Gardens.
A visitation celebrating Wanda's life will be held at 10:00 am, until the time of service.
Wanda was born on February 25, 1939, at home in Audrain County. She was the daughter of John Porter and Stella Mae (Adams) Morris.
She married Claud “Buddy” Green in 1957 and to this union, four children were born. He preceded her in death in 1967. Wanda later married Robert M. Stotler in 1987. He preceded her in death in 2013.
She worked at the garment factories and later owned a Lounge and furniture store and also a Flea-Market Store.
She most enjoyed her family and cooking for them and flower gardens and playing pitch. She is survived by her children, Claude Green Jr. and Theresa, Teresa Mouser, Delbert Green and Monica, Stepchildren, Lori Fitts and Jimmy and Michael Stotler and Jenny. Grandchildren, Kim Miller, Chris Cason, Amber Green, Dylan Mouser, Christopher Green, Brandon Green and Nick Green. Two Step-grandchildren, Sarah Fitts, Adam Tharp and Kenneth Farmer. Seven Great- Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Jerry L. Green.
Memorials are suggested to the Pike County Hospice, in care of Waters Funeral Home.
