Thomas Keith Rogers, age 77, of Middletown, MO passed away at 10:12 am Saturday, September 12, 2020, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Waters Funeral Home.
A memorial gathering celebrating the life of Thomas Keith Rogers will be held at 2:00 pm until the time of service Wednesday September 16, 2020 at the Waters Funeral Home.
The public is welcome to attend the services for Thomas but due to Covid-19 we are asking you follow social distancing guidelines. Please stay six feet apart and avoid close contact. Anyone in attendance is encouraged to wear a mask or other personal protective equipment.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Waters Funeral Home.
Thomas was born on May 18, 1943, in Kewanee, Illinois the son of Frank Albert and Winifred Ruth (Kilgore) Rogers.
He was united in marriage to Sharon Lee Rogers. She preceded him in death on May 26, 2011.
Survivors included two sisters, Jackie Rogers of Mount Pleasant, IA, Kathy Silva of Paradise Valley, AZ; one brother, Joe (Robin) Rogers of Greeley, CO; two daughters, Helen Louise Munford of Mexico, MO, Deborah Wilson (Vince Campbell) of Farber, MO; son, Del Lee Pope of Middletown, MO; two granddaughters, Cherice Bloom, Candice Allen; two grandsons, Ryan Wilson, Joshua Ciner and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death his parents and wife.
Thomas attended high school in Bowling Green, Missouri and worked as a truck driver for Bean Trucking and the Feedbucket Express.
He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, , blacksmithing, bird watching, target practicing, arrowhead hunting and camping. Thomas was a collector of John Deere tractors and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kilby Cemetery in Curryville, Missouri, in care of Waters Funeral Home.
