Sue Ann Ray

Sue Ann Ray, age 65, of Mexico, MO passed away at 12:35 pm Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia.

No services are planned at this time.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Waters Funeral Home in Vandalia.

Sue was born on December 17, 1955, in Granite City, Illinois the daughter of Lonzo and Ruth (Brock) Ray, Sr.

Survivors included Two Brothers, Lonzo Ray, Jr. of Tucson, AZ, and David Ray of Hermann, MO; Three Sisters, Nancy Roark of Vandalia, MO, Janie Ray of New Florence, MO, and Diana Wimbish of Granite City, IL. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews she helped raise and a few great and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; Two Sisters, Virginia Jones, and Pat Ray; and One Brother, Michael Ray.

Sue graduated from Granite City Senior High School, Class of 1974 and worked for The Dial Corporation in St. Louis, MO until her retirement. She enjoyed going to church, driving the church bus and watching the St. Louis Cardinals, She had a big heart and an open hand, she would do anything for anyone.
