Sue Mae (Pease) Henderson passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. She was a lifelong Vandalia area resident and attended Pleasant Plains rural school. Sue was a member of the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church and enjoyed being a homemaker. Her hobbies included gardening, her flowers, canning and music. Sue was accomplished at playing the piano and the bass. At times over the years, she played in the band that her husband Earl Wayne was a member of.

Born: December 24, 1925 in rural Vandalia, Missouri the daughter of Ira Leland and Mabel Isabelle Tallmadge (Kelly) Pease.

Married: Earl Wayne Henderson on August 22, 1947 in Bowling Green, Missouri.

Survivors include: husband, Earl Wayne of Vandalia; one brother, Wayne and wife, Doris Pease of Vandalia; two sisters: Dorothy M. Emo of Freeport, Illinois; Leota Craghead of Ozark, Missouri; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents; one daughter, Janet Sue that died in infancy; four brothers: Tallmadge Pease, Clifford Pease, Leroy Pease and Melvin Pease; four sisters: Julia Mae Pease, Viola Mae Maskey, Evelyn Grover and Mildred Morris.
