Ruth Ann (Weber) Greathouseage 77 of Hannibal, passed away at 6:02 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the Hannibal Regional Hospital. Ruth was born in Fairmont City, Illinois and was a high school graduate. In 2008, she moved to Hannibal from the Collinsville, Illinois area. Ruth was a fulltime Mom and homemaker for her children and family. A Christian by faith and baptism, Ruth enjoyed sewing, crafts, reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Born: June 22, 1939 in Fairmont City, Illinois, the daughter of Fred Walter and Dorothy Mae (Coffer) Weber.
Married: Cletus Avery Greathouse Sr. on December 3, 1982 in St. Louis; he preceded her in death on September 6, 2000.
Survivors include: three sons: Bill (Sheila) Wallheimer of Fairview Hts, Illinois; Dan (Brenda) Wallheimer of Granite City, Illinois; Patrick Greathouse of Imperial, Missouri; three daughters: Natalie (Ron) Ferguson of Vandalia, Illinois; Tammy (Shelby) Griffin of Payson, Illinois; Sissie (Michael) Elliott of Hannibal; one brother, James (Cynthia) Tolley of Fults, Illinois; three sisters: Helen Barrett of Collinsville, Illinois; Debbie (Leroy) Bugger of Florida and Roberta (Dennis) Throm of Florida; also survived by 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by: her parents and husband, Cletus; three sisters: Mary Migneron, Shirley Weber and Delores Sullens; one grandson, Jason Sturgeon.
