Ronnita Anna Nokes, 37, of  Bowling Green, MO passed away at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at her home.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Waters Funeral Home in Vandalia, MO.

Ronnita’s family will be holding a memorial gathering in her honor at a later date.

Ronnita was born on February 27, 1981, in Bakersfield, CA. the daughter of Shelby and Bonnie (Russell) Lawrence.

She was united in marriage to Eric Nokes on December 7, 2004.

Survivors include her husband, Eric of Bowling Green, MO; mother, Bonnie Kitchen of Bowling Green, MO; three sons, Devin, Hunter, and Brenden Nokes all of  Bowling Green, MO; one brother, Shelby “Floyd” Lawrence of Jefferson City, MO; two nieces, Kaylee and Alexis and one nephew, Hunter.

Ronnita was preceded in death by her father.

Ronnita cherished the time spent with her family.  She enjoyed swimming at their favorite swimming hole down at the creek and rock hunting.  Ronnita loved her children and her legacy will remain in their hearts.
