Peggy Joan Collins

Peggy Joan Collins, age 59, of Vandalia, MO passed away at 9:22 am Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at her home.

A memorial gathering celebrating Peggy's life will be held 5:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, July 6, 2020, at the Waters Funeral Home in Vandalia.

Peggy was born on August 25, 1960, in Macon, GA the daughter of Jesse Lee and Peggy (Sharp) Collins, Sr.

Survivors include a daughter, Merrilee Mikulas and husband Ben of Peyton, CO; brother, Jesse Lee Collins, Jr.; friend, Mary Maiden; and by all the people in the town she truly loved.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.

Peggy loved her job at Abel's Quick Shop in Vandalia where she enjoyed visiting with the local customers and people traveling through.  Away from work, Peggy enjoyed crocheting, and going out with friends shopping and dining with them at restaurants.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the Eastern Missouri Family YMCA, in care of the Waters Funeral Home.
