Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.

Pauline R. Forgy passed away at 3:08 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Villa St. Joseph Care Center in Overland Park, Kansas. After graduating from Troy, Missouri High School she moved to Vandalia in 1935. Pauline worked as a seamstress and secretary/bookkeeper at Ely Walker and C & B Garment Factories in Vandalia. She was a member of and active in the First Baptist Church in Vandalia. Pauline moved to the Kansas City area in 1984.
Born: December 7, 1916 in Redford, Missouri the daughter of Leo and Maud (Estep) Rayfield.
Married: David Henry Forgy in California, Missouri on October 1, 1935; he preceded her in death on April 2, 1977.
Survivors include: one son, Daniel and wife, Theresa Forgy of Overland Park, Kansas and one daughter, Virginia and husband, Richard Nichols of San Marcos, Texas; daughter-in-law: Faye Teague; one brother, Joe Rayfield of St. Charles, Missouri; three sisters: Hazel Blakey of St. Charles, Missouri; June Lester of Orange, California; Dorothy Vaughn of Belleville, Illinois; grandchildren: Kerry Nichols, Deanna Nobis, Tamra Meek, Angie Forgy, Jason Forgy, Patricia Dresbach and Ryan McKenny; great-grandchildren: Login Nichols, Quentin Nichols, Haley Nobis, Seth Nobis, Jill Nobis, Joley Meek, Cody Meek, Alexis Forgy, James Forgy, Benjamin Dresbach and Abigail Dresbach.
Preceded in death by: husband, David; two brothers: Harold Rayfield and Don Rayfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the donor's choice.
