Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street in Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
Service:

Monday, November 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Harmony Christian Church, Curryville, Missouri 63339.
Officiating will be: Rev. Dawn Marie Turner.
Music provided by: Deborah Kraft - pianist; Doug Storts - soloist; Glen & Caroly Bailey - duet.
Interment will be in the New Harmony Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Paul Hanson, Marty Scherder, Chris Korte, Jeff Branstetter, Troy Branstetter, Spence Branstetter, Brian Branstetter and Brandon Branstetter. Honorary pallbearers: Lance Gabriel Shaw, Patrick Ryan Scherder and Brayden Branstetter.

Nellie Mae (Rohlfing) Branstetter passed away at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri.

Born: May 30, 1921 in New Florence, Missouri the daughter of George Ernest and Caroline Frieda (Feurring) Rohlfing.

Married: Elmer Willard Branstetter Sr. on June 5, 1939 at the Vandalia Christian Church Parsonage; he preceded her in death on May 17, 2007.

Survivors include: four children, Carolyn Mae Swanson of Holly Hill, Florida; E. W. Branstetter Jr. of Curryville; Ruth Marie Korte of Curryville and Monty Gene Branstetter of Dyersville, Iowa; 12 grandchildren: Carol Lynn Hayes of Bowling Green, Missouri; Diane Brown of St. Peters, Missouri; Paul Wayne Hanson of Palm Coast, Florida; Suzanne Barnes of Wigsburg, Pennsylvania; Lisa Marie Gebhart of Holly Hill, Florida; Sheri Ann Shaw of Vandalia, Missouri; Troy Gene Branstetter of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Jeffrey Alan Branstetter of Moberly, Missouri; Christopher Anthony Korte of Kirksville, Missouri; Jeanette Marie Rogers of Knoxville, Tennessee; Kathryn Anne Coulson of Ashland, Missouri and Brian Clark Branstetter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 30 great-grandchildren: Martin and Patrick Scherder; Tori Hayes; Kristen Mislark; Sarah and Alison Brown; Alisha Price; Sydney and Jared Barnes; Rachel Futch; Jason Hanson; Jonathon and Lindsey Gebhart; Lance Shaw; Spencer Branstetter; Brandon, Casey and Alex Branstetter; Zoe, Isaiah and Eleisa Korte; Grace, Carder and Ryan Rogers; Matthew, Hunter and Max Coulson; Brayden, Britany and Austin Branstetter; ten great-great-grandchildren: Adam, Tyler and Angelina Futch; Zackary, Kayla and Addison Mislark; Jayson, Dylan and Kelsi Scherder and Jadan Hill.

Preceded in death by: husband, Elmer; parents, George and Carrie Rohlfing; three sisters: Elsie Wilhoit, Hilda and Loulla Rohlfing; one infant half-brother; grandson, Brock Edward Branstetter as well as Joseph Rice and Ricky Wayne Branstetter who died as infants.

Memorials are encouraged to the New Harmony Christian Church Cemetery Association going toward upkeep of the grounds and the Prayer Garden.
