Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.

Mildred Ramona (Edmond) Wooten passed away at 3:12 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. She grew up in Pike County and was a graduate of Bowling Green High School. Mildred worked at the International Shoe Factory for over ten years and was a full-time homemaker. Mildred was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Vandalia and enjoyed hobbies of boating, camping, traveling and ceramics.
Born: May 15, 1929 in Overland, Missouri the daughter of James "Otto" and Eunice M. (Hawkins) Edmond.
Married: Bill L. Wooten on June 4, 1949 in Vandalia; he survives.
Survivors include: husband, Bill of Vandalia; one son, William L. Jr. and wife, Barbara Wooten of Quincy, Illinois; four grandchildren: Christopher Wooten of Chicago; Christina and husband Bryan Budde of Quincy; Dustin Wooten of Quincy; Janelle Wooten of Quincy; two great-grandchildren: Caleb and Elayna Budde of Quincy; one brother, Willard "Red" Edmond and one sister-in-law, Norita Douchant of Vandalia and lifelong friend, Margie Wyble of Vandalia; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: parents; one brother, Lorenzo Forrest "Shorty" Edmond.
