Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street, Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
Service:

Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, State Route W, south of Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Balwanz.
Music provided by: Shirley Forgy - pianist.
Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Vandalia, Missouri.
Pallbearers: Rhett Johnson, Ronnie Cragen, Mike Martin, Bill Green, Burton Hopke and Bob Hanson.

Mildred Edith (Hall) Nolan passed away at 12:55 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the Oak Grove Nursing and Rehab Center in Oak Grove, Missouri. Mildred grew up in the Vandalia area and attended Vandalia schools. She was a long time member of the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. Mildred enjoyed gardening, playing cards, dancing and sewing.

Born: December 3, 1921 in Vandalia, Missouri the daughter of Charles Vernie and Emma L. (Potter) Hall.

Married: Grant A. Nolan on August 21, 1940 in Fulton, Missouri; he preceded her in death on August 27, 2006.

Survivors include: one son: Gary and wife, Denise Nolan of Vandalia, Missouri; one daughter: Brenda and husband, Bruce Johnson of Oak Grove, Missouri; five grandchildren: Rhett and wife, Jessica Johnson of Columbia, Missouri and Shannon Johnson of Oak Grove, Missouri; Deanna Nolan and Emily Ebers of Vandalia and Robyn Lybarger of Darien, Georgia; four great-grandchildren: Kyle Ebers and Ashton Garnett of Vandalia; Kati and Kade Lybarger of Darien, Georgia; four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Burton and Wilma Hopke of Laddonia, Missouri; Leona Nolan of Vandalia; June Nolan of Mexico, Missouri and Bertha Butts of the state of Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: one brother: Edward Hall and two sisters: Bernadine Cragen and Lorena Howdeshell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church in care of Waters Funeral Chapel, P O Box 84, Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
