Mary Catherine Reynolds

Mary Catherine Reynolds, age 56, of Vandalia, MO passed away at 7:20 am Sunday, June 21, 2020, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, June 26, 2020 at Waters Funeral Home. Brother Kenny Haddock will officiate.

Visitation celebrating the life of Mary Catherine Reynolds will be held at 11:00 am until the time of service Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Waters Funeral Home.

The public is welcome to attend the visitation and services for Mary but due to Covid-19 we are asking you follow social distancing guidelines. Please stay six feet apart and avoid close contact. Anyone in attendance is encouraged to wear a mask or other personal protective equipment.

Mary was born on August 19, 1963, in Hannibal, Missouri the daughter of Charles and Mary (Perkins) Marshall.

She was united in marriage to Michael Reynolds on June 2, 1985 in Vandalia, Missouri. He survives of the home. 

Survivors include her husband, Michael Reynolds; one son, Trey Allen Reynolds of Mexico; four sisters, Shelia Greene (Ronald) of Vandalia, Donna Johnson of Vandalia, Frances Hendricks (Donnie) of Bowling Green, and Lisa Memba of Vandalia; three brothers, Charles Marshall (Deedee) of Frankford, Roger Marshall (Mary Jane) of New London, and Richard Marshall (Beth) of Hannibal; one grandson, Remey Reynolds-Hooker of Mexico; one aunt, Fannie Griffin of Hannibal and many more nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and tons of loved friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Walter Marshall and two nieces, Destiny Greene and Ashley Hendricks. 

Mary graduated from Mark Twain High School in Center, MO. She worked at Surf Brothers Bag Company in New London, MO before moving to Vandalia and working at the Tri-County Care Center where she was loved by so many. 

She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church of God In Christ in Vandalia. 

Mary loved fishing and being outdoors. She was known for making people smile, laugh and being the life of the party. Mary loved everyone and always had a way of brightening your day.
