Martha Coke

Martha Coke, 74, of Vandalia, MO passed away at 8:05 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2019, at Country View Nursing Facility in Bowling Green, MO.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Waters Funeral Home of Vandalia.

There are no services planned at this time.

Martha was born on July 2, 1944, in White Ridge, AR the daughter of Alanzo and Abigale Josephine Marie (Young) Morris.

Survivors include sons, Paul Coke of Vandalia, MO and James Coke of out of the state; daughter, Rebecca Jane Coke of Moscow Mills, MO; friend, Karen Coke of New Florence, MO; granddaughter, Brand Jo Coke of Moscow Mills, MO; and great granddaughter, Leanna Rose Barnard.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Coke was preceded in death by a son John Coke.

Before retirement, Mrs. Coke previously as a CNA at various nursing facilities in the Troy Wentzville area.

Away from work, Martha enjoyed horses, gardening, tending to her flowers and was an avid reader.

Martha loved her family and cherished the time spent with them.  She was a Christian by faith.
