Marsha Jeffries

Marsha Denise Jeffries, age 71, of Vandalia Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, peacefully with her loving family by her side at her daughters home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date by her family.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Waters Funeral Home.

Marsha was born on January 4, 1953, the daughter of Jack and Alice (Ames) Heaston in Vandalia Missouri.

Marsha married Harold Jeffries on May 30, 1989, at their home in Mexico Missouri. Marsha worked for several years in the retail management industry. Marsha loved to garden, read (always had a book in her hand) and watch her birds as well as had several visiting turtles who would return year after year to their home in Eldon Missouri. She prided herself in taking care of her family and friends and did not know a stranger.

She is survived by her children; Darrol (Amber) Withrow, of Centralia MO, Rich Jeffries of Eldon MO, Erin (Ray) Jennings of Center MO, and Angie Morgan of Gravois Mills. Siblings; Judy Lybarger of Vandalia MO, Bev Stacy of Independence MO, Crystal (Bobby) McCurdy of Vandalia MO, Jack Heaston of Columbia and Kathy (LaRon) Hudson of Little Rock Ar. In-laws; Raymond McCurdy of Monroe City MO, Carl (Carolyn) Jeffries, Howard (Cindy) Jeffries, Lois (Don) McDermitt, Charlette (Bill) Wilson and Martha (Larry) Brown. Twelve grandchildren; Cassie Mundy (Kyle) Schnettgoecke, Anthony Withrow, Dayton (Kennedy) Withrow, Ashley Withrow, Scott Jeffries, Kyle Jeffries, Rheanna Withrow Belt, Bobbi Mills, Isaac (Lexi) Smith, Gavin Smith, Keagann Beshears, Henry Withrow, and Beatrice Withrow. Several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Harold Jeffries, son; Marty Withrow, parents; Jack and Alice Heaston, sister; Lynn McCurdy, grandmother; Beatrice Moore, grandson; Eli Withrow, grandson; David and brother-in-law; Jimmy Lybarger.
