Mark Alan Wortman

Mark  Alan Wortman, age 58, of Troy, MO passed away at 8:52 am Friday, September 23, 2022, at his home . 

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the First Christian Church. Pastor Jamie Franke and Pastor Seth Wortman will officiate.  

Visitation celebrating Mark's life will be held prior to the service at 5:30 pm until time of service. 

Mark  was born on July 18, 1964, in Kansas City MO,  the son of Alvin "Al" and Grace (Bueneman) Wortman.

Survivors included his mother Grace Wortman Vandalia MO and his sister, Carla Wortman of Vandalia, MO; . 

Mark was preceded in death by his Father, Alvin "Al" E. Wortman; .

Mark  graduated from Van-Far schools and went on to further his education and became a Registered Nurse and worked in the St. Louis area. 

Mark was an avid collector of knives and guns and was a history buff.  He enjoyed his two dogs and was a devoted Christian.

Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Kersting, John Tackett, Mike Stanek, Brian Snodgrass, Dane Smith, Kevin Morris and Walt Runyon.

Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
