Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Harmony Christian Church in rural Curryville.
Officiating: Rev. Dawn Marie Turner.
Music: Deborah Kraft - pianist; Marion Branstetter - soloist.
Interment: the New Harmony Church Cemetery with full military honors.
Pallbearers: Keith Scherder, Carl Smith and Dennis Noel.

Mark Allen Morris, USAF retired, passed away unexpectedly at 6:31 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 as the result of a vehicular/pedestrian accident in Madison County, Illinois. He was a 1979 graduate of Bowling Green High School. Mark worked at a grain elevator for a few years and then enlisted in the United States Air Force. He made the Air Force a career and retired in 2007 after 21 years of service. Mark served in Hawaii, Turkey, Florida and Mississippi during his career. When he returned home to visit, he enjoyed riding horses, shooting pool and hunting. He loved spending time with his daughter and granddaughters.

Born: July 6, 1961 in Hannibal, Missouri the son of Robert Allen and Dorothy Mae (Coss) Morris.

Survivors include: parents; one daughter, Pamela S. and husband, Cory Fox of Paris, Missouri; one sister, Angela Beth and husband, Steve DuBach of Sugarland, Texas; two granddaughters: Makenzie K. Fox and Makayla A. Fox both of Paris; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by: grandparents; one sister, Crystal R. Greiner.
