Marilyn Ingram

Marilyn Ingram, age 69, of Vandalia, MO passed away at 9:45 pm, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at her home.  

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Waters Funeral Home. Bro. Kenny Haddock, Pastor Adas' Jacyna will officiate.  

Marilyn was born on February 24, 1955, in Moberly, Missouri the daughter of Maurice and Oleta (Courier) Tipton.

She was united in marriage to Donald Ingram in 1972. Donald precedes her in death. 

Survivors include her Son, Brian Ingram of Vandalia, MO; Sister, Carolyn Suddarth; Five Granddaughters, Kathleen Ingram, Madilyn Ingram, Taylor Ingram, Peyton Ingram, Mary Ingram; Grandson, Wyatt Ingram.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Donald Ingram and Brother, Mike Tipton.

Marilyn graduated from Van Far in 1972. 

Professionally Marilyn worked as a Veterinary Assistant for the Vandalia Vet Clinic for years. 

Marilyn enjoyed watching the QVC home shopping network and buying things for family.  She was well known as the "Cat Lady" where she would rescue strays and would wind up keeping them.  But mostly; she adored her family and grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, in care of Waters Funeral Home.
