Margaret E. Wilhoit

Margaret E. Wilhoit, age 80, of Simi Valley California, passed away on July 6, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on July 29, 2023, at Waters funeral Home.  Burial will follow at the Vandalia Cemetery.

A visitation celebrating Margaret's life will be held at Noon until the time service.  See obituary written by the family:

Margaret Elizabeth was born on December 3, 1942, to
parents Vincent Carl Gribben and Virginia (Cratty) Gribben
in Los Angeles, CA.
Margaret accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an
early age and attended her local church. Margaret had a
love for writing and singing. She was also a homemaker
and had a special gift with kids and animals. Margaret
enjoyed traveling around the country with her husband
John Sr. and enjoyed devoting time with her family and
friends.
Margaret departed this life peacefully on July 6, 2023.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent,
and Virginia Gribben. She leaves to cherish her memory,
her loving husband John Wilhoit Sr., her son John Wilhoit
Jr., [Della Streaty-Wilhoit], her biological granddaughter,
Angela Wilhoit, her grandson by marriage, Steven Streaty,
two great-grandchildren Naomi and Matthew, sister,
Kathleen Rackley, sister-in-law, Alice Allen, brothers-in-
law, Carl Wilhoit [Daisy - deceased], Carson Wilhoit
[Barbara], Jerry Wilhoit [Ella], and preceded in death by
sister-in-law, Ruth Bailey [R.C. – deceased], nieces,
nephews, loved ones to whom she was like a mother and
grandmother, and host of close friends and relatives.
