Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at 2 p.m. a graveside service will be held at the Vandalia Cemetery under the direction of Waters Funeral Home.
Officiating will be: Rev. Roger Thomas.

Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Larry Wheeler, David Davis, Michael Davis, John Salmon, Curtis Kerr and Kenneth Wheeler. Honorary pallbearers are Louis Schulze, Eddie Cafer, Ronnie Ball, Marlon Davis, Jeff Wright and Mark Udelhoven.
Margaret Waters Jordan passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, November 7, 2004 at her home in Vandalia. She received her education in the Vandalia Public Schools; Christian College in Columbia, Missouri; the University of Wisconsin and the University of Missouri, Columbia. Margaret graduated from the University of Missouri in 1931 and taught English and Latin at the Farber High School for three years prior to her marriage to Gerald J. Jordan in 1936. She was a long time member of the P.E.O. sisterhood, a meber of Pi Beta Phi Sorority at the University of Missouri and a member of the First Christian Church in Vandalia. The greater part of her married life was spent as a partner with her brother, William B. Waters in the Waters Furniture Company. She retired soon after his death and sale of the business.
Born: July 7, 1909 in Vandalia, Missouri the daughter of William S. and Elizabeth (Bland) Waters.
Married: Gerald J. Jordan in 1936, he preceded her in death on December 6, 1997.
Survivors include: no surviving relatives.
Preceded in death by: parents, one brother, William B. Waters on September 20, 1983 and husband Gerald J. Jordan.
