Marcus "Marc" Lee Clinton passed away at 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the Hillside Residential Facility in Hannibal, Missouri. As a boy he enjoyed playing Khoury League baseball, as well as football. His favorite professional team was the Green Bay Packers. He attended Van-Far high school, where he played on the junior varsity and varsity basketball teams. For the past 18 years, Marc resided at Hillside Center in Hannibal, a residential care facility operated by Brandi and Kevin Lionberger. There he was affectionately known as "Stick" due to his tall (6'4") lean body type. He was a friend to many there. During his years in Hannibal, Marc's relationship with Brandi and Kevin, along with their two sons, Ryan and Caleb, developed into one that can only be described as "chosen family". Marc loved spending time with the boys, going to the farm with Kevin and various other family outings. In recent years, Marc spent some time back in Vandalia caring for his parents as their health declined. While in Vandalia, he attended the First Baptist Church again, where he'd been a member since childhood.

Born: April 20, 1960 in Hannibal, Missouri the son of Halbert Lee and Shirley Lois (Elzea) Clinton.

Married:

Survivors include: his loving sister, Charlotte (Clinton) Vilce and her husband Robert of Anchorage, Alaska; nieces Maija and Lydia Vilce and nephew Eric Vilce all of Anchorage. In addition, he is survived by the Lionbergers, who believed in, watched over Marc and loved him dearly.

Preceded in death by: parents.
