Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street in Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music provided by: selected favorite hymns.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: David Marshall, Eddie Marshall, Benny Marshall, Shane Bontz, Paul D'Arca and Tex Williams.

Laura Mae (Marshall) Bontz passed away at 11:35 a.m. on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at St. Rita's Hospital in Lima, Ohio. She was a Vandalia High School graduate and a member of the Baptist Church. Laura Mae was a homemaker and enjoyed many hobbies throughout the years. She enjoyed bowling, crochet, gardening and her flowers. Over the past several years she was a devoted Fox News watcher.

Born: May 27, 1932 in Vandalia, Missouri the daughter of William Guy and Florence Mae (Greenwood) Marshall.

Married: William Ernest "E.W." Bontz on August 27, 1949 in Hannibal, Missouri; he preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one daughter, Laura Denise and husband, Rick D'Arca of Ada, Ohio; one son, William E. "Bill" Bontz of Vandalia, Missouri; two brothers: Charles Kenneth Marshall of Eolia, Missouri and Guy Edward Marshall of Vandalia, Missouri; four grandchildren: Paul D'Arca and Tony D'Arca both of Ada, Ohio; Shane Bontz and Crystal Bontz both of Vandalia, Missouri; three grandchildren: Josie Bontz, Lydia Bontz and Draven Bontz; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: husband, "E.W." Bontz.
