Monday, July 26, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church, 314 S. Taylor in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. Jeffrey Mims.
Music provided by: church choir.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Terry Shepherd, Darrell Chatman, Junior Moore, Kenny Pearl, David Davis, Joe Walker, Michael Reynolds and Jamie Wheeler. Honorary pallbearers are: Richard Pearl Buddy Cockrell, John Taylor, Tony Campbell and Bill Wickles.

Larry Eugene Chatman passed away at 5 a.m. July 23, 2004 at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri. He was a faithful member of the Second Baptist Church and lived most of his adult life in the Vandalia area. Larry was a 1974 Louisiana high school graduate and worked in the kiln room at A. P. Green Refractories in Mexico, Missouri for over 11 years, until his health prevented him from working any longer.

Born: May 23, 1955 in Louisiana, Missouri the son of Harold Kerr and Mary Edna Chatman.

Married: Brenda L. Perkins in Louisiana on August 22, 1981; she survives at the home.

Survivors include: wife, Brenda of Columbia; mother, Mary Edna Chatman of Louisiana; step-mother, Rhoda Kerr of Vandalia; grandmother, Gertie Chatman of Louisiana; one son, Delbert Chatman of Fulton; one daughter, Corrie Clark of St. Louis; five brothers, William Chatman of Louisiana; James Chatman of Colorado; Charles Chatman of Hannibal; Donald Chatman of Vandalia and Bernard Chatman of Louisiana; seven sisters, Delores Burse of Louisiana; Cheryl Reynolds of Bowling Green; Gloria Chatman of Hannibal; Brenda Butler of Louisiana; Melody Chatman of Louisiana; Rhonda Kerr of Vandalia and Lisa Bryant of Springfield, Illinois; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by: his father, Harold Kerr.

Memorials may be made to the Second Baptist Church in Vandalia or the donor's choice.
