Juanita Marie (Green) Hansen passed away at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Country View Nursing Facility in Bowling Green. She was the third of five children and grew and attended schools in the Center area. After her marriage to Ronnie, she became a full time homemaker on the family farm south of Curryville, where they raised two boys and two girls. She was baptized into the First Baptist Church of Curryville and enjoyed fellowship there and also visiting friends and family. Juanita had also worked outside the home as a waitress for many years at the Steakhouse in Bowling Green and then in different capacities for her sister and brother-in-law, Charles and Opal Ulry. She made many friends working at Smith Barr and Maple Grove Lodge nursing homes. Her second greatest love was sewing. Juanita was an accomplished seamstress, making entire wardrobes from everyday wear to wedding dresses. She also enjoyed reading romance novels and gossip magazines.

Born: August 13, 1931 in Center, Missouri the daughter of Clarence and Nellie Mae (Perry) Green.

Married: James Ronald "Ronnie" Hansen on June 20, 1954; he preceded her in death on March 27, 2014.

Survivors include: two daughters: Nellie Seiller and husband, Wayne of Bowling Green; Cynthia Backer of Wentzville; one son, C T Hansen and wife, Carrie of Baldwin City, Kansas; also survived by eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren: Marie (Seiller) Griffen and wife Jacque, their children: Hannah, Andrew and Adam Griffen; Tabatha Branstetter of Bowling Green; Shannon (McGeorge) Kettler and husband Mark; their children, Nathan and Tyler Perkins, Cody, Cory and Madison Kettler of Wentzville; Ronita Hansen of Savage, Minnesota; Miranda Brown and her daughter Ava Johnson of Louisiana; Jeff Seiller and his sons, Jeffery and Paul Seiller of O'Fallon, Missouri; Pastor J R Brown and wife Lacey and their children, Kaylee and Jackson Brown of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; Clayton Tyler Hansen of Baldwin City, Kansas; Carsen, Karily and Kathryn, step-children of C T Hansen of Baldwin City, Kansas; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents; husband, Ronnie; one son, James R. Jr. (Jim); one sister, Opal; three brothers: Claude, Robert and Richard; niece, Becky Allen.
