Freida Ellen Brown-Smith

Freida Ellen Brown-Smith, age 88, of Middletown, MO passed away at 8:55 am Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at her home.  

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Waters Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens following the service. 

Visitation celebrating Freida's life will be held at 10:00 am until the time of service Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the Waters Funeral Home. 

Freida was born on September 12, 1933, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri the daughter of Arlie and Rosa (Reynolds) Cauble.

She is survived by her Daughter, Lois Ann (Jim) Pruitt of Holts Summit; Son, Arley Brown of Jefferson City; Brother, Loyd Cauble of Broomfield, CO; Sister-in-law, Betty Cauble of TN; 
Eight Grand Children; Nine Great Grand Children; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Lindle "Andy" Smith; Former Husband, Delbert Brown; Son, Bobby Brown; Nine Brothers and Sisters; and Granddaughter, Regina Gauthier.

Freida was a member of Olney Baptist Church. She was very devoted to the church and serving the Lord. Freida loved her family and spending time with them. She also enjoyed quiet afternoons spent watching her birds in the yard and relaxing with her dog and cat. 

Pallbearers will be Brent Pruitt, Derek Pruitt, Nathan Gauthier, Daniel Cox, and Roy Wright.

Honorary Pallbearer is Dwain Brown.

Memorial contributions may be made to Olney Baptist Church, or the American Cancer Society, in care of Waters Funeral Home.
