Interment will be in the Laddonia Cemetery.

Freddie Joseph Fischer passed away at home in Vandalia at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2005. He had lived his childhood years and attended schools in the rural Laddonia and Martinsburg area. Freddie moved to Vandalia in 1971 and was a welder by trade, working for several businesses and most recently for Paul Goodman. He was a protestant by faith and enjoyed fishing and mowing yards on his riding lawn mower.
Born: September 15, 1936 in Laddonia, Missouri the son of Frank Bernard and Frances Ellen (Bushnell) Fischer.
Married: Della Fern Brookshire on January 13, 1968 in Vandalia, Missouri; she survives at the home.
Survivors include: wife, Della of Vandalia; two step-sons, Jerry Foiles of Vandalia, Missouri; James Foiles of Laddonia, Missouri; two daughters, Donna and husband, Robert Kemry of Vandalia; Kimberly R. Fischer of Vandalia; three brothers, Raymond and wife, Ann Fischer of Laddonia; Lester Fischer of Laddonia; George and wife, Nettie Fischer of Mexico; two half-brothers, Bobby Baird of Columbia and Larry and wife, Johnny Baird of Vandalia; two sisters, Jeanette and husband, Marvin Freeze of Cuba, Missouri and Gladys Smiddy of Gibsonville, Florida; five grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: one brother who died in infancy; four sisters: Mary, Jane, Margaret and Isobel Fischer; one granddaughter.
