Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Father Russell Judge.
Music provided by: Sacred Heart Choir.
Interment will be in the Hawk Point Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Ronald Saettele, Danny Saettele, Philip Saettele, Larry Erwin, Neil Saettele and Gary Saettele.

Elsie M. Saettele passed away unexpectedly at 4:05 a.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri. Elsie was a faithful member of the Catholic Church and moved to the Vandalia area with her husband and son in 1983 from the Middletown area. In her younger years, she had worked at the International Shoe Factory in the St. Charles area and was a full time homemaker. Elsie enjoyed working in her yard and growing flowers.

Born: August 5, 1907 in Troy, Missouri the daughter of Christopher and Nola Frances (Compton) Douglas.

Married: Alfred Henry Saettele on April 29, 1929 in Belleville, Illinois; he preceded her in death on July 16, 1978.

Survivors include: one son, Nolan Eugene Saettele of Vandalia; one sister-in-law, Rosella Saettele of St. Charles, Missouri; several cousins.

Preceded in death by: husband, Alfred and her parents.
