Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.

Effie O'Dell (Kemp) Rolle passed away at 9:25 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri. Effie lived most of her life in the Vandalia area and worked for over 15 years as a seamstress at the Bobbie Brooks Garment factory in Vandalia. She was a long time member of the First Christian Church in Vandalia where she was a Sunday School teacher and helped with Bible School. Effie also enjoyed quilting, crochet, crafts and handiwork.
Born: March 21, 1922 in rural Monroe County, Missouri the daughter of Tony H. and Norma I.(Woodson) Kemp.
Married: John Junior Rolle on June 28, 1941 in Mexico, Missouri; he preceded her in death on December 26, 1989.
Survivors include: two sons, Sean and wife, Anne West of LasVegas, Nevada and Barry and wife, Robin Rolle of Overland Park, Kansas; one daughter, Jeanne and husband, Robert McKee of Bowling Green, Missouri; one brother, Robert D. and wife, Jane Kemp of St. Joseph, Missouri and one sister, Wilma Anderson of Stockton, California; also survived by six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: parents and husband, John Jr.
