Dorothy Libby Emo passed away unexpectedly at her home in Belleair, Florida on Saturday, January 3rd, 2015.

Dorothy was born and raised in Vandalia, MO, where she attended school and graduated from High School. She married W.R. "Babe" Emo on August 22, 1948 and raised their three children in Vandalia until 1963 when they moved to Gainesville Florida. Dorothy and Babe remained in Florida, working and raising their three children. After Babe's death, Dorothy moved to Belleair Florida to be closer to her daughters. Dorothy was an amazing woman of strength. Up until her death, she attended exercise classes, volunteered regularly at her local hospital, was active in her church, travelled and stayed busy with her family and many dear friends.

Born: March 22, 1924 in Whiteside, MO.

Married: W.R. "Babe" Emo on August 22nd, 1948 in Vandalia, MO.

Survivors include: daughter Carolyn Emo Chunn and husband Frank, grandson Charles and wife Kristine, grandson Brian, and great-grandsons Chase and Lucas; daughter Marilyn Emo Connelly and husband John, and grandchildren Kaley, Caroline, and Cameron; son Warren Emo and wife Vicki, and granddaughter Jennifer Emo Phillips and husband Gabe, and great grandson Theodore. Other survivors include brother H.E. Harold Libby and wife Martha, sisters Pat Prichett and husband Bud, Ginger Pilliard, and Wanda Utterback and husband Bob, and many nieces, nephews and cousins

Preceded in death by: her parents, husband, and her brother, Mack Henry Libby.
