Interment will be in the Farber Cemetery.

Doris Jane (Chase) Belts passed away at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the Pin Oaks Golden Living Center in Mexico, Missouri. Doris grew up in Farber and was a 1942 graduate of the Farber High School. She had been a resident of Vandalia since 1947 and was a long time member of the First Christian Church. Doris started working for the Vandalia State Bank in 1947 and continued working for the bank through the many ownership changes, retiring in 1989. She had been a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club; the National Association of Bank Women; the Audrain County Legal Professionals and the local Federated Clubs. Doris was also a member of the Vandalia Country Club and after retiring, she enjoyed traveling.
Born: August 14, 1924 in Farber, Missouri the daughter of Garth W. and Mary Jane (LeMasters) Chase.

Survivors include: two brothers: Dale A. and wife, Ann Chase of Foster City, California and Guy and wife, Jean Chase of Mexico, Missouri; five nieces and nephews: Alonza Mace of Williamsburg, Virginia; Guy M. Chase of St. Paul, Minnesota; Garth M. Chase of Belmont, California; Steven Chase of St. Charles, Missouri and Frances J. Roseen of Como, Colorado; also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews.
