Donna was born December 15, 1935, in St. Louis, MO, and passed away peacefully on March 21, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Page E. Tilman. She was an exceptional cook, baker, and hostess, and cherished her sons and daughters, Scott (Beverly), Guy (Debbie), Tracy (Brenda) and “adopted” sons Tony (Denise) Laird and Bret Jones.
She was the daughter of the late Russell and Goldie (Manley) Summers, and was preceded in death by brothers Eugene, Dean and Don, and sister Wanda. She is survived by her sister-in-law Lois Summers, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Donna was a Godly woman who devoted her life to serving Christ, her family, her many friends, her church, and her community. She loved children of all ages and enjoyed being “Grandma” and “Grammy” to many over the course of her life. She will be greatly missed, leaving behind memories of a life well lived and a legacy of love. Hers was not always an easy life, but it was a successful life because she was faithful, she loved greatly, and she was loved dearly.
Donna’s family would like to especially thank Tony and Denise Laird, Roger and Arliene Woodward, Jeri Fennewald, Janie Pease, Tracy Maiden, and many others who so lovingly assisted her with daily living needs and allowed her to remain in the home she loved. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Hannibal Regional Hospital, Hannibal Clinic, and the Columbia Regional Medical Center for their loving care.
