Music: Sharon Hoehn - pianist.
Interment: Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Louis Blase, Michael Sutton, Greg Sutton, Sean Weiser, Ross Blase and Tom Schillinger.
Honorary pallbearers: Mel Blase, Robert Sutton, Lloyd Browning, Bob Hanson, Gene Weiser and Melvin Hesterberg.

Delpha Margaret (Lotton) Phillips passed away at 1:29 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Mexico, Missouri. She grew up, attended schools, and graduated from Bellflower High School in 1929. Delpha has been a Vandalia area resident since the 1940s. She was a homemaker but also worked outside the home. Delpha was a waitress, worked at Waters Furniture Store, the phone company, and at Weiser Drug Store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vandalia and a founding member of the Vandalia Country Club. Delpha was active in the PTA, years ago, and also in the local bridge club. She enjoyed playing bridge, working crossword puzzles, knitting/crochet, painting and porcelain, gardening, golf, and traveling.

Born: April 12, 1911 near Bellflower, Missouri the daughter of Lucien and Margaret (Murphy) Lotton.

Married: Vernon Anton Weiser in Bellflower; he preceded her in death on May 20, 1978. She married Willis Lee Phillips in Columbia in November 20, 1983; he preceded her in death on June 12, 2002.

Survivors include: one son, John A. Weiser of Vandalia; one daughter, Betty L. Blase and husband Melvin of Columbia; one son-in-law, Robert L. Sutton of Aurora, Illinois; eight grandchildren: Louis Blase of Louisville; Kentucky, Ann Blase of Columbia, Missouri; Robin Sutton of Aurora, Illinois; Gregory Sutton of North Aurora, Illinois; Michael Sutton of Honolulu, Hawaii; Sean Weiser of Shreveport, Louisiana; Gina Weiser of Bossier City, Louisiana and Kara Weiser Fortune of Pickerington, Ohio; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Preceded in death by: parents; one daughter, Connie Rae Sutton; one brother, Ivan Lotton; two sisters, Abbie Hesse and Olean Barton; one grandson, Larry Blase.

Memorials are encouraged to the Vandalia Country Club or to the Van-Far Alumni Association
