Interment of her cremains will take place at a later date.

Darlene (Presson) Seeley passed away at 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Countryview Nursing Home in Bowling Green. She grew up in the New Harmony area and attended Bowling Green schools. After her marriage to Ted, they moved to Farber and she started working at North American Refractories. Darlene worked at NARCO for 17 years as a production supervisor. She then began working for the Van-Far Schools in the elementary cafeteria and was there for over 18 years before retiring. Darlene was a member of the Farber Presbyterian Church where she had served as an elder and deacon. She enjoyed baking, sewing, quilting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Born: December 14, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Joseph Andrew and Margie Isabelle (Mason) Presson.

Married: Teddy Duane Seeley on November 16, 1957 in Bowling Green, Missouri; he preceded her in death on March 12, 2007.

Survivors include: one son: Jim A. and wife, Brenda Seeley of Mexico, Missouri; one daughter: Sherry L. and husband, Rick Ellis of rural New Hartford; one brother: Billy Joe and wife, Barb Presson of Phoenix, Arizona; three sisters: Jane Wentworth of Hudson, Florida; Mary Ann and husband, Phillip Elliott of Perry; Carolyn Sue and husband, Bob Treaster of Quincy; also survived by seven grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: parents; husband, Teddy; one son, Ricky W. Seeley and one daughter, Tori A. Hatton, and one grandson, Steven Eugene Puttnam.

Memorial contributions are encouraged to to the Farber Presbyterian Church or to the Community Care Loving Hospice in Bowling Green, Missouri.
