Interment of his cremains will take place at a later date.

Dan Allen "Danny" Gaw passed away at 6:31 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri. Danny grew up in the Vandalia area and was a 1963 Van-Far High School graduate. He attended two years at the Missouri Valley College in Marshal, Missouri. Danny started his own business in 1974 and was self-employed as a general contractor in the Lake Ozark area. In 2004, he retired due to health reasons but remained in near the Lake of the Ozarks. He had attended the Methodist Church through the years and enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.
Born: February 1, 1945 in Louisiana, Missouri the son of Harry Ralph and Edith Lucille (Kerr) Gaw.
Married: Cherlyn Rae Capp on September 3, 1966 in Hannibal, Missouri.
Survivors include: wife, "Cheri" of Gravois Mills, Missouri; one son, Chad A. and wife, Traci Gaw of Camdenton, Missouri; one daughter, Michelle D. and husband, Doug Peterson of Overland Park, Kansas; three brothers: Jim and wife, Edna Gaw of Center, Missouri; Ralph and wife, Barb Gaw of Tipton, Missouri; Bob and wife, Charlotte Gaw of Warrensburg, Missouri; two sisters: Betty and husband, William Barber of Vandalia; Carol and husband, Darrell Hogue of Columbia, Missouri; two grandchildren: Mekahla Peterson and Kendon Peterson both of Overland Park, Kansas; also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by: parents and one brother, Joe Gaw.
