Daniel Sean Sprouls, age 49, of Vandalia, MO passed away at 10:14 am Sunday, July 23, 2023, at his home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, July 28, 2023, at the Waters Funeral Home. Pastor Bob Hoehn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Visitation celebrating Daniel's life will be held at 10:00 am until the time of the service Friday at the Waters Funeral Home.
Daniel was born on January 31, 1974, in Macon, MO the son of Don and Linda (Williams) Sprouls.
Survivors include his parents, Don and Linda Sprouls; siblings, Stacie Whetstine (Everett), Brady Bilbro (Jeff), Dusty McEwen (Stephanie Sellars); nieces and nephews, Lara Bell (Terrance), Jeffrey Fischer (Sydney), Breanna Black, Brandon Black, Alyce Hill (Austin), Emden Bilbro, Owen Bilbro and Rylan Bilbro; great niece and nephews, Jackson Fischer, Paxton Bell, Jayse Fischer, Kaiden Fischer and Harper Hill; special second mother and aunt, Kaye Williams.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, infant brother and sister, and uncle, Jim Williams.
Daniel graduated from Van-Far High School in the class of 1992. He went on to further his education at University of Central Missouri, majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology.
Daniel had worked as a Manager for Walmart and later as a Correctional Officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections.
Away from work, Daniel enjoyed camping, fishing, playing his trumpet and doing word search puzzles. When the Chiefs were playing Daniel was always there to support his favorite team. Spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews were Daniel's biggest love.
Daniel was a Christian by faith.
Pallbearers will be Lara Bell, Jeffrey Fischer, Breanna Black, Brandon Black, Alyce Hill, Emden Bilbro, Owen Bilbro and Rylan Bilbro.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Fischer, Paxton Bell, Jayse Fischer, Kaiden Fischer and Harper Hill.
Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the National Kidney Foundatio , in care of Waters Funeral Home.
