Cue Dela Hodges passed away at 10:08 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. Cue had lived most of his adult life in the Chicago and Milwaukee area before moving to Louisiana, Missouri in 2006. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness faith and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. While in Chicago, he was self-employed as an electrician, plumber and carpenter for many years, until his health forced him to retire in 1999.

Born: November 25, 1938 in Marian, Arkansas the son of Paul and Luealler (Moore) Hodges.

Married: Carrie Mae Foley in Chicago; she preceded him in death on June 16, 2003.

Survivors include: three sons: Paul Hodges Jr. of Chicago; Bernard Hodges of Milwaukee; Austin Hodges of Hannibal, Missouri; seven daughters: Leah Martin of Louisiana, Missouri; Kokemer Hodges of Chicago; Luealler Hodges of Milwaukee; Bernice Hodges of Chipewau Falls, Wisconsin; Rosalee Hodges of Milwaukee; Queen Esther Hodges of Milwaukee; Ida Mae Hodges of Milwaukee; two brothers: Paul Hodges of Chicago and Ace Hodges of Chicago; 15 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents; wife, Carrie Mae Hodges; two brothers: Jimmy Hodges and Austin Hodges; two sisters: Rosalee Hodges and Candy Hodges.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the donor's choice in care of Waters Funeral Chapel, P O Box 84, Vandalia, Missouri 63382-0084.
