Claudine Lybarger, age 90, of Laddonia, MO formerly of Vandalia passed away at 1:55 pm Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia.
Private family services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the Waters Funeral Home. Pastor Dale Roberts and Pastor Nathan Detmer will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens following the service.

We, the family, understand that you may want to be with us during our time of loss, but for safety reasons, we understand your absence. Claudine was born on October 18, 1929, in Ashley, Missouri the daughter of James Albert and Gertrude Lois (Hickman) Lovelace.
She was united in marriage to Elmer "Tom" Lybarger on June 8, 1947 in Bowling Green, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 5, 2010.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, James Elmer Lybarger, daughter, Paula Kay Sites, two sisters, Virginia Berger and Velma Sue Leverett, son in law, James Sites and two grandchildren, Shala Nicole Kuda and James Bartlow.
Claudine is survived by seven children, Donna Bartlow of Hannibal, MO, Douglas Eugene Lybarger of Perry, MO, Tami (Roy) Grawe of Laddonia, MO, Dwayne (Mary Ann) Lybarger of Melvin, IL, Robyn (Tom) Maggard of Protem, MO, Dawn (Kenny) Glover of Hannibal, MO and Travis (Cheryl) Lybarger of Laddonia, MO, a twin sister, Pauline Keithley of Bowling Green, MO, twenty one grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren, five great great great grandchildren and many other loved family and friends.
Claudine graduated from Bowling Green High School Class of 1947 and worked for Bobbie Brooks and Handy-Top in Vandalia for 25+ years until the closing of the factory.
She was a member of Laddonia Christian Church, the Farmerettes of Farmer, MO and the coffee club in Laddonia.
Claudine was a lot of life for a little woman and always on the go. She was the life of the party and loved hosting parties and family gatherings. She loved cooking, camping, boating and going to garage sales. Claudine spent a lot of time quilting and sewing, she also loved to send out cards to her family, friends or anyone she thought needed a smile. She loved new and unusual stamps and was always looking for the best ones to put on her cards. She was known for her sour cream banana bread, crazy about John Wayne, Judge Judy and her favorite movie The Heat. She was often found spending time with the Amish and loved being with them. At the nursing home they called her Miss America because she greeted everyone who went by her room. Claudine loved the lord with all her heart and enjoyed her time visiting churches including the Laddonia Christian Church, Bible Holiness Church in Vandalia and the Cowboy Church in Bowling Green. Above all Claudine loved her family beyond explanation, her time spent with kids, grandchildren and everyone she loved was priceless.
Pallbearers will be Jaron Freie, Chad Freie, Bradley Leverett, Ken Meyer, Amanda Grawe and Cole Lybarger
Honorary Pallbearers are James Lybarger, Robert Kuntz, Scottie Kuntz, Jackie Bartlow, Adam Lybarger, Eric Glover and Kade Lybarger.
