Charles McCune Kennen passed away at 6:05 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Landmark Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He attended schools in Independence and he and Geraldine moved to Laddonia in 1952. Charles farmed in the Laddonia area for many years and was known as a "farmer investor". He was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing and gardening with Geraldine.

Born: October 24, 1924 in Independence, Missouri the son of Albert L. and Leta (McCune) Kennen.

Married: Geraldine Virginia Watts on May 5, 1945 in Auxvasse, Missouri; she preceded him in death on June 27, 2006.

Survivors include: one brother, Max Kennen of Laddonia, Missouri; great-niece, Sandra Traynor of Bowling Green, Missouri and grand-nephew, Richard Jennings of Warrenton, Missouri.

Preceded in death by: wife, Geraldine; two brothers, Edward Kennen and Albert Kennen.
