Brinda Lee (Fielder) Pargeon passed away at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2017 at her home in Vandalia. Brinda grew up and lived in Vandalia all her life. She attended Saint Joseph Catholic School in Martinsburg until the 8th grade. Brinda went to Van-Far High School and graduated with the class of 1967. After high school, she attended and graduated from the Aladdin Beauty School in Kansas City in December 1967. In 1968, she started working for other beauty shops in town. Brinda opened her own shop, "Beauty Box," in 1977 and ran it until her retirement in February 2017. She was active on the church parish council; chairwoman of the Van-Far Ambulance District for several years; taught CCD at church and worked at Tri-County Care Center doing hair for many years.Brinda enjoyed reading, flea marketing, antiquing, oil painting, scrapbooking, working with flowers, and spending time with her family.
Born: April 26, 1949 in Mexico, the daughter of David Lee and Ione Jewell (Terry) Fielder.
Survivors include: four sons: Sean T. and wife, Wendy Lovelace of Jefferson City; Jeffrey E. and wife, Carrie Pargeon of Frankford; Errett D. and wife, Pamela Pargeon of Vandalia; John T Pargeon of Vandalia; one daughter: Roma Lee and husband, Tony Lovell of Curryville; one sister, Teresa I. and husband, Ron Hendrix of Vandalia; 13 grandchildren: Zach Lovelace, Heather Hawkins, Holly Pargeon, Davon Pargeon, Lily Pargeon, Michael Lovell, Brian Lovell, Steven Lovell, Payton Pargeon, Katelyn Pargeon, Isabella Pargeon, Joscelyn Pargeon and Jaxeson Pargeon; two great-grandchildren: Bryanna Hawkins and Madyson Hawkins; nephew, Travis Hendrix.
Preceded in death by: parents, Jim and Ione Drainer; husband, Gene; one son: Christopher S. Lovelace.
