Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.

Interment will be in the Curryville Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Gene Perkins, LeRoy Perkins, Sam Chandler, Bill Beatty, Neil Beatty and Jim Jungers. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Smith, Jimmie Bland and Marvin Colbert.
Billy Joe Hendrix passed away peacefully in his sleep at 1 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. Mr. Hendrix is a lifelong Curryville area resident. After high school, he hauled lime to area farmers and also worked at the Beatty Sawmill for many years. Mr. Hendrix then started working as a custodian with the Curryville public schools until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting.
Born: June 8, 1922 in Ashley, Missouri the son of LeRoy Cleveland and Eugenia V. (Elmore) Hendrix.
Married: Vergie Lee Spears on July 26, 1947.
Survivors include: one son, Ronald J. and wife, Tess Hendrix of Vandalia; two daughters, Eugenia Reed of Mexico and Judy Dodson of Vandalia; one sister, Dorothy Landman of Hannibal; four grandchildren, Travis Hendrix of Vandalia; Jodey Terry of Vandalia; Amanda Waldmeier of Center and Ryan Colbert of Quincy, Illinois; three great-grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Waldmeier, Jaimee Terry; one nephew, Robert Landman of Hannibal; a special friend, Bill Hendrix of Mexico.
Preceded in death by: parents; one brother, Lawrence Hendrix and one sister, Mary Francis Miller.
