Monday, September 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music provided by: Marion Branstetter, soloist and Deborah Kraft, accompanist.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Bill Moore, Bob Moore, Ronnie Moore, Steve Moore, Rex Moore and Roy Moore.

Betty Ann Wood passed away at 8:40 p.m. Thursday evening, September 14, 2006 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri.

Born: May 6, 1930 in Vandalia, Missouri the daughter of Andrew Roy and Lora Fame (Benn) Robinson.

Married: Elmer Leon Wood in Vandalia, Missouri on November 19, 1949; he preceded her in death on July 17, 1969.

Survivors include: three sons, Gary L. and wife, Donn Wood of Canton, Georgia; Mark A. and wife, Debbie Wood of Vandalia and Douglas L. Wood of Vandalia; one brother, Bill Robinson of The Dells, Oregon; one sister, Helen Moore of Vandalia; six grandchildren, Leah Kram of San Francisco; Brian Wood of St. Charles, Missouri; Jacqueline Wood of Bourbonaise, Illinois; Mallory Wood of Vandalia; Adam Wood of Vandalia and Chad Wood of Canton, Georgia; two great-grandchildren, Jassenia Wood and Brenden Wood; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: husband, Elmer Leon Wood; one brother, Roy Andrew Wood and one sister, Ruth Moore.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the First Christian Church, Vandalia or the New Harmony Christian Church, Curryville.
